Arlo Eugene Hansen, 67, passed away comfortably at his home surrounded by his loving family members on Aug. 23.
Graveside services with full military rights will be held Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery, directly following there will be a Celebration of Life held at the Clubhouse at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Please wear your Hansen Strong shirts or casual attire. Memorial may be directed to the Hansen family.
Arlo was born and raised in Manchester, graduated from West Delaware schools, and actively served in the US Army and honorably discharged. He worked several labor jobs always providing for his family until retirement in July 2011.
He is survived by his best friend and lifelong companion, Sharon Hansen, his sons, Brian (Therese) Hansen, Shawn (Malinda) Hansen. Grandchildren, Amanda Hansen, Taylor (Kyle) Robbins, Bryan Hansen, Carson Hansen, Conner Hansen and Jace Hansen; step-grandsons, Teal Ludemann, Zach (Kelsey) Morris, six great-grandchildren, Kloee and Taeryn Chrystal, Kinnick, Axyle, Jhett and Kinzley Robbins and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Grace Hansen, one brother, Vince (Bink) Hansen, five sisters, Joann Hutchinson, Dorothy Haas, Norma Haas, Patti Rasmussen, Karolyn Clemen, one great-granddaughter, Lauryn Chrystal and several nieces and nephews’.
